Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival line-up announced
Kanye West, Kings of Leon, and Arcade Fire are among the top acts lined up for the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival this year.
The outdoor concert series at Indio’s Empire Polo Club is set for April 15-17. The Strokes, Cee Lo Green, Duran Duran, Jimmy Eat World and Flogging Molly are also set to play.
The eclectic concert weekend, featuring everything from alternative to R&B to punk, will be open with Kings of Leon.
Indie band Arcade Fire will be the main show on Saturday, April 16, and rapper Kanye West will close the series April 17.
Tickets run from $269 for a three-day festival pass to $699 to a VIP festival pass.
The festival, which drew up to 75,000 people each of its three days last year, swells the local population by tens of thousands, with many fans camping in tents on the grounds and elsewhere.
