Chase Stokes to star in Armani Beauty documentary

OHMYGOSSIP — Chase Stokes and Camila Mendes are set to star in a “personal and emotional” Armani Beauty documentary.
The ‘Outer Banks’ actor and the ‘Riverdale’ actress – who are part of the brand’s Gen A talent that represent the company globally – are going to appear in the 23-minute Loïc Prignent film ‘A Few Days in Venice’, which gives a behind-the-scenes look at the stars at the 81st Venice International Film Festival of La Biennale di Venezia.
Global Brand President Richard Pinabel told Women’s Wear Daily: “This year, we wanted to do something different. That included delving into what goes on before the red carpet’s unfurling.
“To show not only the glamour, the surface of what is happening, that you normally see, but also behind-the-scenes.
““It’s not just the classic makeup preparation or ‘get ready with me.’ We wanted something a bit more personal, emotional and to go really behind the entire process that is leading to the event.”
Richard also gave his reasoning behind working with the documentary filmmaker and journalist – who has created many YouTube-related fashion videos, such as covering the Paris Courrèges fashion show in June.
Loïc’s “very authentic style” and his “connection with both the cinema and fashion world” made him the stand-out choice.
Going live on YouTube on Tuesday (12.11.24), the film focuses on the young acting talent at the 81st Venice International Film Festival of La Biennale di Venezia, which ran from late August to early September.
It will also star Chris Briney, Clara Galle, Isabela Merced, Jackson Yee, Julio Peña,, Lili Reinhart, Muhannad Hamdi and Beatrice Vendramin.
The “dream project” appealed to Richard because of “the cast” and “the Armani team” involved.
He added: “It was a parenthesis for them as actors, actresses and producers. It was a quiet moment. The camera could be a friend, and we had really intimate talks. Nothing was scripted. It was very genuine.”
