Jane Krakowski’s pregnancy won’t be incorporated into 30 Rock. The actress — who plays Jenna on the show  — is expecting her first child with British-born clothing designer fiance Robert Godley.

Speaking to E! News on the Golden Globes red carpet she revealed it isn’t being written into the comedy. “It isn’t because nobody thinks that Jenna would be a very fit mother!” she laughed.

Speaking later on, Tina Fey agreed. “I don’t think we’ll use it, only because so many characters are having babies on the show this year — Jack’s character is having a baby, Tracy is,” Tina said. “Also her character would be the most terrible mother in the world, the state would have to come and take her baby away!”

Krakowksi and Godley got engaged in January last year.
