Katie Price’s husband Alex Reid has hit out at comedian Frankie Boyle for his sick joke about her disabled son Harvey.
Broadcasting watchdog Ofcom has launched an investigation into Frankie’s show Tramadol Nights after Katie Price accused the comic of being a “bully” after he made comments about her son Harvey, who suffers from septo-optic dysplasia and autism.
Writing in his Star magazine column this week, Alex has said Channel 4 must apologise saying: “I was absolutely flabbergasted by Frankie Boyle’s so-called jokes about Harvey on his Channel 4 show. They were disgusting.
“It was discriminatory, and just because it was about disability rather than race makes it no less offensive.
“I hope people see his comments for what they are. I would also hope he doesn’t gain any more notoriety or fame through it. That would be a real shame.”
