Mel C: I felt invincible after birth

Mel C has revealed that she felt like she could do anything after she gave birth to her daughter Scarlet last year.

The former Spice Girl said that she now has the confidence to achieve whatever she wants.

She told Hello: “It’s really quite an odd feeling but after having Scarlet I kind of felt invincible. Like, ‘Wow, if I can have a child, I can achieve anything’.

“She is my priority now. Sometimes, where I may have been scared of failure, I now just think, ‘No. You’ve just got to go for it’.”

Mel added that having a baby was a big adjustment: “At first it was very, very scary. It was quite a shock just getting my head around this new person in my life, and realising how much time is devoted to taking care of her.”
