Peaches Geldof splits from Eli Roth?

Peaches Geldof has reportedly split from her film director boyfriend. The British TV star has broke up with the 38-year-old Eli Roth — whom she was rumored to be engaged to — because they spent too much time apart and both have too many work commitments.

“Peaches is really sad that things didn’t work out with Eli,” a source said. “They were very much in love and she’d never been so nuts about a guy.

“But both are hard workers and have huge work commitments coming up, so they were due to be spending too much time apart.

“It was almost better for them to part ways before things got even trickier with making time for each other.

“They remain great friends and her time spent with him will remain extremely precious — but it’s all over now.”

The split comes at a difficult time for 21-year-old Peaches — daughter of rock campaigner Bob Geldof — as she has also recently lost her grandfather and it has been the tenth anniversary of the death of her mother, presenter Paula Geldof.

She is, however, said to be throwing herself into work and developing a new TV project.

“She’s been busily working on TV,” the source added.

“She’s certainly not just sitting about feeling sorry for herself. She’s ambitious with her career and still has a lot that she wants to achieve.

“Peaches really wants to make a go of being a presenter – and is just at the beginning of her career.”
