Katherine Heigl wants a biological baby
Katherine Heigl says she and her husband Josh Kelley haven’t ruled out having biological children. The couple adopted daughter Naleigh last year and have already been discussing the possibility of adding to their brood in the future.
“We still talk about having biological children as well,” the actress, 31, tells the November issue of Redbook magazine.
“I’m not ruling anything out,” she says. “But adoption has been a part of my life and a part of my family, so it was how I wanted to start.”
Katherine says Josh is a hands on dad, whom she adores.
“He’s a great dad. I didn’t expect it,” she said. “He’s such a guy.
“I adore him, I can’t imagine being with another man, but he can be very self-absorbed.”
Heigl recently admitted she didn’t spend enough with her daughter Naleigh while shooting her new movie Life As We Know It.
“It was a zoo, a full on circus,” she said.
“Most of the time I just felt guilty that I wasn’t spending enough time with my own daughter, and I was spending too much time with the triplets [who played the baby in the film] on set.”
