Leann Rimes defends herself against Wendy Williams

Leann Rimes has been forced to defend herself against Wendy Williams! On Thursday’s episode of the The Wendy Williams Show, Wendy discussed LeAnnn’s recent Shape interview, in which the singer admits to having an affair with actor Eddie Cibrian and explains her reasons for cheating on husband of six years Dean Sheremet.

“It’s all very sloppy,” Williams said, adding that Rimes should not have referred to Cibrian’s sons as her “boys.”

“The boys have a mother, and her name is Brandi [Glanville],” Williams, 46, continued.

Following the broadcast, Rimes, 28, took to Twitter to fire back at Williams’ comments.

“All I know is Wendy Williams done pissed my mamma off! I don’t wanna be in her path,” the singer wrote.

“To say, ‘I’ve reserved myself a place in hell?!’ I’m incredibly disappointed to see someone with that kind of platform use it for such negativity and could be so mean and judgmental about a situation they know nothing about.”

She added, “I don’t like how it happened either, said it a million times, but this is out of control.”
