According to American tabloid the National Enquirer, the busty beauty — who’s currently dating former sportsman Eric Johnson — has 15 pounds in two months and is trying to conceive with her beau!

Simpson is so thrilled over the prospect of becoming a mom, she’s started “eating for two,” source say.

“It looks like Jessica’s dream of having a baby is finally coming true,” a close friend divulged.

“She’s crazy in love with Eric — so they’ve decided to make a baby.”

Jessica — who divorced Nick Lachey in July 2006 and endured a spate of failed romances with John Mayer, Tony Romo and Billy Corgan — has previously revealed she thought she’d be married with a baby by now.

“I thought I had it figured out; I’m going to be this great pop star, be married, have babies,” she said earlier this year.

“But things can be taken from you.”
