Mario Lopez´s girlfriend gives birth to doughter

Mario Lopez is a proud papa! The actor-TV host is celebrating after his girlfriend, Courtney Mazza, gave birth to their first child — a daughter!

Gia Francesca Lopez was born in Burbank, Calif., on Saturday. Mother and daughter are reportedly doing well.

“We are so overjoyed,” Lopez, 36, told Extra. “What an amazing, wonderful and overwhelming experience to welcome our daughter into the world.”

Lopez, 36, has previously revealed he was doting on Mazza, 28.

“I’m constantly trying to feed her because I want to have a really healthy, chubby baby,” he said at the time.

Lopez also said he planned to write a book and create a reality show about first-time fatherhood.

“There’s so much out there for women but not so much for men, and I want to be a very hands-on dad,” he said.

“I think having a humorous but informative way to tell that story would be great for a show.”
