Rocker Caleb Followill says his Kings of Leon bandmates are already in a position to retire — because they’re “plenty rich” and “don’t need” more money.
Caleb told British newspaper The Sun that the group were prepared to take a risk with their new album Come Around Sundown as they’re all financially secure and can afford for the record to flop.
“We’re already plenty rich, we don’t need it. We’re like thousand-aires, multiple thousands, multiple,” he said.
“This record has got a little bit of every record we’ve ever made to this point.
“And all the people that only know us from the last record — which is quite a few people — we wanted to show them a little bit of our background and the kind of music that we’ve been trying to make all the while.”
