Alex Reid: We are currently in Thailand enjoying the sun

Alex Reid tried to “sneak away” from Katie Price to watch Thai Boxing on their honeymoon. The cage-fighter – who spent a week in the South-East Asian country with the former glamour model after they renewed their wedding vows on July 3 – loved relaxing abroad with his spouse, but made sure to squeeze in some more manly activities.

He wrote in his column for Britain’s Star magazine: “I am currently in Thailand enjoying the sun and beach with my new wife!

“Katie and me are soaking up the weather and enjoying a week together before heading back to London and straight back to work! It’s such a different culture and people are so friendly. I am hoping to sneak away to catch a bit of Thai boxing.”

Although the 34-year-old star – who is stepfather to Katie’s three children, Harvey, eight, Junior, five and three-year-old Princess Tiaamii – agreed to allow a film crew follow them during part of their romantic trip, he made sure they had plenty of private time to “romance” one another.

He said: “As it is our honeymoon, they are pretty good at giving us space when we need it. So yes, we have had time for romance but that is between me and my wife!”
