Jennifer Aniston’s statue pal

Jennifer Aniston has found a new friend in the form of a statue. The unlucky in love actress – who has been through a string of relationships with the likes of Vince Vaughn, John Mayer and model Paul Schulfor since her marriage to Brad Pitt ended in 2005 – has reportedly invested in a $4,000 500lb Buddha model to take her spirituality to a new level.

An insider told National Enquirer magazine: “She’s been bringing it flowers every morning. Some days she even reads poetry to the guy. But she knows the statue won’t give her any answers, so it’s not like she’s gone bonkers.

“It just makes her feel good to ask the questions – and she says she likes talking to the Buddha because he never cuts her off or asks for an autograph.”

Things could be looking up for the ‘Bounty Hunter’ star, as she was recently spotted enjoying a dinner date with actor Christopher Gartin at the Sunset Tower Hotel and Restaurant in Los Angeles.

A source revealed: “She was bubbly in demeanour, seeming to be rather enthusiastic about something. They were talking about swimming pools and the pros and cons of chlorination or the new salt-water saline pools.”
