Kate Hudson’s beau nervous to meet her mother

Matt Bellamy admits he’s “nervous” about meeting Kate Hudson’s famous mother.

The Muse frontman — who has secretly been dating the Bride Wars star for the past few months — is set to be introduced to Kate’s actress mom Goldie Hawn but says he is a little daunted at the prospect.

“I haven’t met Goldie yet. We are meeting up next week,” he said. “I’m quite nervous. You don’t want her reading daft stories online — it’s embarrassing when you meet someone’s family for the first time.”

While Matt says things between him and Kate are going really well, he says it’s far too early to be thinking about marriage.

“Things are going great at the moment. I am very happy,” he said.

“We just have fun together and are seeing how it goes. Kate is great. We have tried to keep things private so haven’t told anyone how we met or nay details like that. We are just doing are thing.

“It’s a little bit too soon to talk about weddings and stuff. Ask me in a few months though. I’ll let you know how it goes with Goldie – and then who knows?”
