‘Bachelor’ Jake Pavelka didn’t threaten Vienna
A source close to Jake Pavelka has denied rumours that the Bachelor star threatened ex-fianceé Vienna Girardi with physical violence at a recent reunion.
Speculation has mounted over what occured at the taping of the couple’s post-split interview with Bachelor host Chris Harrison, after it was reported that Girardi stormed out of what producers described as an “emotionally charged” meeting.
Speaking to People, the source described rumours that Girardi had gone into hiding after being threatened by Pavelka as “bull”.
“Jake did not threaten her,” the source claimed. “Anyone that knows Jake – including Vienna – knows that physically threatening someone is not in his character.”
The couple, who met on the hit reality show, announced their separation on Tuesday. The eagerly-awaited reunion interview will air during the July 5 episode of The Bachelorette on ABC.
