Stella McCartney is pregnant with her fourth child
The fashion designer and her husband Alasdhair Willis – who already have two sons, Miller, five, and Beckett, two, and a daughter, three-year-old Bailey – is expecting her fourth child, due to be born later this year.
A source close to Stella – the daughter of former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney and the late Linda McCartney – told the Daily Mail newspaper: “Stella loves the idea of having a close-knit family, just like the one she grew up in.
“She’s a great mum. She has been telling all her friends the good news.”
Just recently Stella – who has three sisters, Heather, Mary and Beatrice, and a brother, James – revealed she was looking forward to some time off from being pregnant, but confessed she was thinking about extending her family.
She said: “I’m kind of interested in having more children. Though right now I feel like I’ve only just stopped having them, so I’m ready to have a bit of a break first.”
This is the second bit of good news for the McCartney family, with Stella’s sister Mary getting married last Saturday (12.06.10).
Her new husband Simon Aboud posted a picture of both of them on twitter with the caption: “We got married on Saturday. Marylebone Registry, just us and the kids, the rings driven up the aisle to us by one of the boys on a remote control dune buggy. Lovely day.”
