OHMYGOSSIP — Vogue Williams had an “incredible time” on ‘The Jump’ regardless of her injury.
The 31-year-old model was forced to pull out of the winter sports competition after she injured her right knee, and despite having to undergo an operation on her limb she doesn’t regret the experience and has still praised the show as “one of the best things” she has ever done.
Speaking about the Channel 4 programme to the Metro newspaper, the golden haired beauty said: “I had an incredible time [on ‘The Jump’]. I know it gets bad press because of the injuries but it’s a sports show and people do it because they’re really into it. I learned so many new skills. It’s one of the best things I’ve done.”
The Irish model underwent a painful procedure in a bid to “get back to normal”, which saw part of her hamstring transferred to her injured right knee, she has admitted it wasn’t “essential” for her to have the surgery.
She said: “I had the operation a couple of weeks ago and I’ll be off crutches soon. The surgery wasn’t essential but because I like skiing and bungee jumping U wanted to do it so I could get back to normal.”
However, Vogue has not been fazed by the accident and has already signed up to next year’ series.
Speaking previously, the DJ – who was formerly married to Brian McFadden – said: “Yes I’ve already signed up for next series. I can’t wait to try again. Having to pull out injured hasn’t put me off at all. If anything it’s made me more determined to win next time.”
