Zoe Saldana’s co-star gun love

Zoe Saldana claims her co-star slept with his gun on the set of ‘The Losers’. The actress – who plays betrayed CIA agent Aisha in the action adventure movie – admits her Spanish co-star Oscar Jaenada wouldn’t let go of his gun even when they were not shooting scenes for the film.

She said: “Oscar was always with his rifle, his gun. He slept with it. I don’t know if it was some character thing or research… and if any other gun experts came and tampered with it or changed something he would say in his Spanish accent, ‘No, no, no, no, I like it like this.’ ”

The 31-year-old star also jokes her co-stars, including Chris Evans, Idris Elba and Jeffrey Dean Morgan, would try to improvise during shooting – with mixed results.

She told Empire online: “We encouraged each other to improvise and if something didn’t work when someone shouted, ‘Cut!’ we would be like, ‘What was that?’ ”

Despite on-set criticism, the group did enjoy their time together, even heading out on drinking sessions as a crew.

She said: “We had a really good friendship from the beginning from the training process right through to the movie. We trained together, we drank together – again, actors drinking! We had tea together.
