Kelly Rowland believes in girl power

Kelly Rowland has told girls not to let a man take over their lives. The ‘Commander’ singer advises girls to carry on with their lives even after they get a boyfriend.

She said: “If you think he deserves a bit more of your time and effort, then go for it, but he has to deserve it and prove he’s doing that too. I like to have girly days with my friends and that day can’t move even for a guy.”

Kelly also gave women advice for how to get rid of an undesirable man.

She told Cosmopolitan magazine: “If you go on a date and the guy is a complete a*shole, he’s showing you that he’s an a*shole, so run like hell.”

Kelly is currently appearing in TV show, ‘Kelly Rowland’s Fashion Show’ and recently changed outfits five times in one evening (03.06.10) when she performed at the amfAR New York Inspiration Gala, Vh1 Hip Hop Honors and Lil Jon’s Crunk Rock album release party.
