Dog Whisperer star Cesar Millan has separated from his wife

The television star has confirmed that he and partner Ilusion have decided to end their relationship after 16 years of marriage.

In a statement on his website, he said: “The decision was made after much consideration and time. We remain caring friends, and are fully committed to the co-parenting of our two boys.”

The 40-year-old – who recently appeared alongside Jennifer Lopez in The Back-Up Plan -and Ilusion are parents to sons Andre and Calvin.
