Vanessa Hudgens takes dark roles

Now that Vanessa Hudgens is no longer the apple in Disney’s eye, she’s taking on one dark role after another. In her upcoming movie “Sucker Punch” Vanessa plays a prostitute, and she admits it was the most fun she’s had with a role.

She said: “Honestly, it’s a combination of a lot of things… it’s really fun and it’s a fantasy and you’re going to have to see to understand.”

So how did she prepare for the role? She didn’t visit a single strip club, that’s for sure. She said, “We did martial arts. We trained with the Navy Seals. We got to shoot a lot of guns. It was very exhilarating!”

She said: “I was bawling my eyes out because they push you so hard. But it’s amazing what you find from it. When you go so far you find a certain Zen within that and you know you can do anything. It’s very empowering.”

Her wholesome image went out the door when nude photos of her “leaked” online, so at this point, nothing shocks us.
