Warner Bros to adapt DC’s Starman?

Warner Bros is rumoured to be preparing a film adaptation of DC Comics’ Starman. According to Pajiba, Sherlock Holmes producer Dan Lin is developing the project for the studio.

Created by writer Gardner Fox and artist Jack Burnley, the intergalactic hero first appeared on the pages of Adventure Comics in 1941. The character possesses energy powers, wields a cosmic rod and is able to fly.

The move follows reports that Marvel is planning a series of low budget movies based on its lesser-known properties.

Warner Bros and DC are yet to confirm the Starman film.
