OHMYGOSSIP — Laura Whitmore always packs a pair of trainers with her when she goes on holiday.
The 31-year-old television presenter has admitted she finds running is “good” for her “mentally” and when she is due to jet off on vacation she always has to take suitable footwear to run in with her.
Speaking to Women’s Health magazine about her essential wardrobe item, the blonde beauty said: “Running is good for clearing your head. I find if I’m stressed about something, I just go for a run.
“Mentally, running is good for me. Whenever I go away, I’ll throw a pair of trainers in my bag.”
And the star has revealed she is “addicted” to fitness and will happily jump out of bed in the early hours of the morning to enjoy a workout, and Laura has admitted if she doesn’t go she will feel “terrible” for the rest of the day.
Speaking about her regular Bikram yoga sessions, she said: “I’m there at 6.30am and I’m addicted. I started four years ago and, honestly, if I don’t go I feel terrible.”
Laura has hinted her daily routine will never change because she is very “strong willed” and determined to do what she wants.
She said: “I’ve always been strong-willed and I think that comes from her. She’s a very strong, independent lady.”
Meanwhile, the Irish-born star – who was recently booted off this year’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ show – has revealed she is much more “comfortable” with her body shape now rather than when she was in her “mid-twenties”.
She explained: “I think I’m more comfortable in my body than I was in my mid-twenties. Maybe it’s an age thing.
“You know what parts you like or you don’t like – you know what suits you and you just don’t care as much.”
