Ryan Phillippe is tired of being blamed for Witherspoon split

During an interview on “Howard Stern’s Sirius XM radio show” on Monday, Ryan Phillippe talked about how the media has wrongly portrayed him since he broke up with ex wife Reese Witherspoon.

“I’ve been dumped on in the press for relationship stuff since we divorced. I am really tired of getting s**t on. I do not feel like I deserve it. Things happen,” Phillipe told.

During their divorce, Ryan was rumored to have cheated on Reese Witherspoon. When she filed for divorce in November 2006 after seven years of marriage, Witherspoon cited “irreconcilable differences.”

Soon after the divorce was finalized, Ryan started dating Abbie Cornish (picture right) but they broke up about four months ago, amid further rumors of Philippe’s infidelity. “I have a new rule, not to date anyone who has a publicist,” Ryan said bitterly.
