OHMYGOSSIP — David Gandy “doesn’t believe in diets”. The 36-year-old model will always watch what he eats and step up his workouts if he has a big campaign coming up, and admits the preparations make for a “boring” few weeks. He said: “When I’m shooting a campaign, I up my training to seven days a week, involving high-intensity and high-impact workouts. “Although I don’t believe in diets and eat very healthily, I do watch what I eat during that time. It’s a boring few weeks, but the results are worth it.” The hunky star doesn’t think the men’s skincare market is as big as it could be, even though he admits his own beauty routine is minimal. He told Glamour magazine: “Unlike the female beauty industry, men’s grooming is virtually untouched – and it’s about to take off. “There is still a lot of education to be done to teach men how to follow a routine and the importance of skincare, whatever your age. “My regime is based around three core products – a scrub, a serum and a moisturiser. That’s all I think men need. “Men have thicker skin than women, so there is a huge gap in the market for really effective men’s skincare.” As well as his modelling career and clothing range for Marks & Spencer, David has a number of other things he still wants to achieve. He said: “I’m not even close to being done – there is so much more that I want to achieve. “I have lots of collaborations in the pipeline and I’m enjoying going beyond just the visual side of things. “I’m working with my teams to build and develop the creative and business concepts, which is really exciting.”
