N-Dubz paint guns seized by police

N-Dubz’s paint guns were seized by police after the group pelted fans ahead of a concert, according to reports. However, the police have confirmed that “Say It’s Over” stars, who performed at Newcastle’s O2 Academy, were not arrested.

“They were shooting wildly at the queue. They were firing green pellets at people – many of whose clothes were covered in paint by the time they had finished. They thought it was hilarious – but the police took a decidedly dimmer view. Dappy and Fazer had gone into the town centre earlier that afternoon and bought five paint pellet guns,” a witness told The Sun and added: “They did not think they were doing any harm and Dappy had a frank exchange of views with one of the officers when they boarded the bus.”

Northumbria Police said in a statement: “Police were called to a coach at the back of the O2 Academy following a complaint that pellets were being fired. The two people involved had been firing plastic guns at each other which discharged a 6mm-sized pellet. They were very apologetic and handed the toy guns over voluntarily. No complaint of injury has been made. No arrests were made. Advice was given to the parties involved.”
