Carrie Underwood to serve wedding cupcakes

Carrie Underwood (27) has claimed that she will serve an untraditional wedding dessert, according to People.

 The country singer & hockey player Mike Fisher are engaged to be married this summer. Underwood recently said that she was opting out of a wedding cake.

“We’re kind of doing cupcakes. I consider myself a very traditional person. More than anything, we’re going to get married, that’s the important part. And we want everyone to have a good time, so we’re doing some things like that, that are a little bit different,” Underwood stated.

The couple became engaged in December of last year, though Underwood has kept the wedding date private. She claimed that she is waiting until after Fisher’s season is over with the Ottawa Senators.

“There’s a lot going on”, she said. “They are still in the season… so we’re working on it here and there. We have a few things coming along.”
