Branson tones up

Sir Richard Branson (59) has been toning up for next month’s London Marathon on the ski slopes. The tycoon, who is running with his children Sam and Holly in their Caterpillar-team along with Princess Beatrice, is determined to be the first of the group to cross the finish line.

“Richard has been skiing in Verbier, which he says is the best way to fitness,” says a friend, Daily Mail reprots.

“He is taking it very seriously and is really competitive. He has also been training from the crack of dawn while on business trips to ten countries, including Bahrain, South Africa and Australia, and at his private island, Necker.”
