Kyösti Kakkonen’s Luxurious Life: Finnish Millionaire spends over 80,000 euros per week
OHMYGOSSIP – Kyösti Kakkonen (66) is a Finnish businessman, art collector, and millionaire who is known as the “emperor of discount retail” for his tenure as CEO of the Tokmanni retail company. He is currently the CEO and Chairman of the Kakkonen Group, and is known for his extensive collection of design art, including some of the most significant glass and ceramics collections in Finland and the world.

In a recent interview with Me Naiset magazine, Kyösti Kakkonen discussed his weekly expenses, which amount to over 80,000 euros. He explains that much of this money is spent on art acquisitions, which he sees as both preserving cultural heritage and an investment for the future. Kakkonen also mentioned his two homes, one located in Joensuu, Finland, and the other in Helsinki, as well as expenses related to the restoration of a villa he purchased in 2019.
In the interview, Kakkonen mentions specific art acquisitions that he made on Tuesday, spending a total of 62,500 euros on two separate pieces. He also mentions spending on other items such as food and necessities for him and his wife Julianna Borsos (52).
