Rosie Huntington-Whiteley on posing nude: It’s empowering
OHMYGOSSIP — Rosie Huntington-Whiteley finds it “empowering” when she strips off for the cameras and poses nude.
The 28-year-old model has admitted she enjoys stripping off in front of the cameras. She told W magazine: “When you’re shooting nude, there’s always a sense of empowerment.”
Meanwhile, Rosie – who has her own lingerie line for Marks & Spencer – previously revealed she feels strongest when she poses in her underwear.
She shared: “There can be backlash and people who think it’s derogatory to women but everyone wears lingerie.
“The thing that I’m always mindful of is when that I’m posing for an image, the photographer needs to empower me and women. I want there to be a strength there, a strong sexiness in the final image.”
Rosie also recently spoke out about being told she was too “wholesome and healthy” to become a model at a young age.
She added: “I’ve always been considered more of a commercial model.
“I started modelling when I was 16, which is just mental, and when I used to go to castings for the shows they would see me and say, ‘She looks too wholesome. She’s too healthy!’ And that’s bad because…? So I would think, ‘Well, thanks. I’ll take that as a compliment.’ I like that word, wholesome, so it’s hard for me to think of it as negative.”
