Fern Britton: My “Strictly Come Dancing” partner kicked and shoved me

OHMYGOSSIP — Fern Britton has claimed her ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ partner Artem Chigvintsev kicked and shoved her during training and even threatened to kill her if she didn’t get out of his sight.

The former ‘This Morning’ presenter has revealed the 32-year-old hunk lashed out at her after becoming frustrated with her during rehearsals for the BBC celebrity dance contest.

She shared: “He would look at my feet and just kick me or shove me.”

The 57-year-old star also claimed he would yell at her to shut up and order her to leave.

She added: “He was like, ‘Shut your face. Go home before I kill you’.”

However, Fern admits she didn’t take his threat to kill her too seriously and instead joked that she wanted to be put out of her misery.

Speaking at an event hosted by The Times newspaper: “I would say, ‘Oh please just kill me, it would be easier’. Or what was the other one? ‘If you go for a cup of tea now, I will blow off like an atomic bomb’. I thought, well I won’t correct him on that one.”

Fern and Artem came in tenth place on the 2012 series of the show before the professional dancer – who previously dated his 2010 ‘Strictly’ partner Kara Tointon – quit the show in 2014 in favour of the US version, ‘Dancing with the Stars’.
