Christina Hendricks: Sarah Jessica Parker is wonderful

OHMYGOSSIP — Christina Hendricks has confessed she dreamt of being Sarah Jessica Parker’s best friend before starring with her in the 2011 comedy ‘I Don’t Know How She Does It’.

The 40-year-old actress has confessed she’d always wanted to get to know the ‘Sex And The City’ star before appearing alongside her in the 2011 comedy ‘I Don’t Know How She Does It’.

The flame-haired beauty said: “Every girl dreams of Sarah Jessica Parker being their best friend and when you work with her she’s really that wonderful. She’s smart and witty and kind. When we did ‘I Don’t Know How She Does It’. I was absolutely sure she was going to be my best friend!”

However, Christina confessed she has tried to hold back when it comes to phoning up her pal.

She added: “Have we stayed in touch? Well, when we run into each other we’re always happy to see each other, but I try not to harass her on the phone!”

The ‘Mad Men’ actress – who plays Joan Harris on the AMC show – also opened up about her relationship with co-star John Hamm, who plays Don Draper, and admitted she was constantly impressed by his professionalism on set.

Speaking of shooting their last ‘Mad Men’ scenes prior to the show’s finale which airs tonight (17.05.15), she told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “‘Mad Men’ has changed my life so much I get speechless about it. It’s been the last eight years of my life, I’ve been on a journey with these people and it’s hard to say goodbye.

“On the last day of shooting, there were a lot of tears that went on until the next morning. Jon Hamm is so professional; he has to work every day, morning to night, and I’ve never seen him miss a line.”
