UNEXPECTED video call?! Follow these tips to look good!

OHMYGOSSIP – You are enjoying your day off and have postponed the beauty procedures, when suddenly someone is trying to start a video call with you. The call must definitely be answered, but you look just awful! What to do?

Colour your eyebrows
In case of an unexpected video call invitation there is no time for full make-up. Grab the eyebrow powder or pencil and colour your eyebrows. The artwork need not be ideal, just a little shade will make the situation better. Eyebrows frame the face and they give you a more lively look.

Grab a jacket
If you do not manage to change the comfortable home T-shirt – put on a nice jacket. The jacket will give you a more professional look, even if underneath there happens to be a pyjama top.

Wear earrings
Large extravagant as well as modest earrings will give you a perfect look. Grab the earrings that are at hand and put them on.

Find a decent background
Don’t let the conversation partner know the exact situation in your bedroom or exactly how cute your cat is when it’s trying to slip into the frame during an important video call. Choose a spot for the conversation where everything looks neat and there are no interfering aspects.

Choose the right light
The best option would be to select a well lit spot for the conversation, some place with natural daylight. Definitely avoid a dark room with light coming from behind you – your conversation partner will then just see a dark silhouette in a ray of light.
