Ferne McCann: Charlie Sims will ‘regret’ dumping me
OHMYGOSSIP — Ferne McCann believes her ex-boyfriend Charlie Sims will regret breaking up with her on Twitter after making her choose between him and starring on ‘The Only Way Is Essex’.
The ‘Only Way Is Essex’ star has spoken out after Charlie took to Twitter last week to announce he was quitting the ITVBe show and moving on from his relationship of nearly five years to say she thinks he will live to regret his decision.
She said: “I don’t think he was thinking straight. I think he’ll regret those tweets.”
Charlie’s comments came after he fell out with Ferne over an episode of the reality show last week and forced her to choose between him and her career and she insists that while she’s devastated over their split, she stands by her choice.
She told Now magazine: “TOWIE’s my job at the end of the day – it’s my career. His behaviour has made me question the future. Now I think we want different things in life. He was my everything but now it looks like that isn’t going to happen anymore and I have to re-evaluate my life. It’s upsetting.”
Charlie’s cousin Frankie Essex had blamed Ferne for his decision to not patch things up with his sister Chloe Sims last week, resulting in Charlie’s ultimatum, but Ferne admits she didn’t expect him to snap.
She added: “As far as I’m concerned, things had been amazing … He was the man I wanted to marry tomorrow. Now I just don’t know. But don’t run to Twitter and don’t try to control my life.”
