Ashlee Simpson is expecting a baby girl

OHMYGOSSIP — Ashlee Simpson and her husband Evan Ross are expecting a baby girl together.

The 30-year-old singer is set to welcome a little daughter into the world later this year with her husband Evan Ross, whom she married in August 2014, and is looking forward to decorating the nursery ready for when the tiny tot makes her arrival.

Speaking to PEOPLE.com, Ashlee said: “We’re having a girl! I like to know [what I’m having] -I want to do the nursery.”

The blonde beauty already has six-year-old son Bronx with her first husband Pete Wentz – who also welcomed a baby boy Saint Laszlo with his partner Meagan Camper last year – and admits the youngster is looking forward to having a little sister to play with.

She explained: “I told him pretty early on [that I was pregnant] and he wanted to have a sister, so he’s really excited! He’s got a little brother. Now he’s going to have a little sister!”

Meanwhile, Evan was over the moon when he found out he was going to become a father in the near future and recently admitted he wants lots of children with Ashlee, whom he married in a romantic ceremony held at his mother, legendary singer, Diana Ross’ lavish home in Greenwich, Connecticut.

He said previously: “I would love to [have kids]. As many as possible.”
