Amanda Peet: I thought Game of Thrones was ‘terrible’
OHMYGOSSIP — Amanda Peet thought her husband David Benioff’s idea to for a ‘Game of Thrones’ TV series was “terrible” at first but she is now “obsessed” with the programme.
Amanda Peet thought ‘Game of Thrones’ was a “terrible idea” when her husband David Benioff first told her about it.
The 43-year-old actress didn’t think there was a chance the programme would be a success when the 44-year-old TV producer, who co-produces the multi award-winning US fantasy drama TV series, first mentioned it to her but she has now gone back on her comments.
She said: “I thought it was a terrible idea … terrible. It’s just silly it’s like dungeons and dragons but real with real people.”
The ‘Good Wife’ star – who has three kids, Frankie, seven, Molly, four, and one-month-old Henry with David – admits she cannot get enough of the programme now and has to shield her eyes when she goes into her husband’s office in case she accidentally sees a spoiler.
Speaking on talk show ‘Conan’, she added: “Now I’m obsessed and just this afternoon and I went to my husband’s office to tell him can you do the school run and the story boards were up for the next season and index cards on my left and I literally was like [shields her eyes], ‘David, David, can you pick up Frankie.’ “
