Danniella Westbrook wants to go on Celebrity Big Brother
OHMYGOSSIP — Former ‘EastEnders’ actress Danniella Westbrook is desperate to appear on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ following her confession she is living in sheltered accommodation.
The former ‘EastEnders’ star has been linked to a stint on the upcoming 15th series of the Channel 5 reality show – which kicks off in January – after admitting she’s living in sheltered accommodation and relying on food banks to feed her family.
A source revealed: “Danniella sees ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ as her only option now.”
The 41-year-old actress – who has 18-year-old son Kai from her relationship with Robert Fernandez and 13-year-old daughter Jody with ex-husband Kevin Jenkins – is in need of the fee she would receive for appearing on the programme after being dropped from a pantomime in Torquay due to a cocaine relapse earlier this year.
The insider told the Daily Star newspaper: “She hates to leave her kids, but she needs cash, and fast.”
Danniella – who previously appeared on ITV reality show ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ in 2003 – confessed in a recent interview she has had the “worst year” of her life.
She said: “It’s a car crash and I have to say, I thought that nearly losing my life was the worst point of my life, but I think that this year has been the worst year that I’ve ever had in my life, to lose one thing after another after another.”
