Zac Efron and Michelle Rodriguez split

OHMYGOSSIP — Zac Efron and Michelle Rodriguez have reportedly split up after having a series of arguments in Ibiza, Spain earlier this month. The 26-year-old actor and the 36-year-old actress, who were first spotted kissing on holiday in Sardinia, Italy in early July, have reportedly ended their romance.

A source told Us Weekly magazine that the ‘Fast & Furious’ actress broke the ‘That Awkward Moment’ star’s heart, explaining: “Michelle is going to do her own thing. Zac knew this about her when he got with her. He’s very into her though, and perhaps more than she’s into him.”

Zac, who previously dated Vanessa Hudgens and Lily Collins, hopes the brunette beauty, who previously dated British model Cara Delevingne, may take him back in the future.

The insider said: “Zac still wants to be with her.”

The former couple’s close pal Gianluca Vacchi previously defended their relationship amid rumours other friends were worried they were a bad influence on each other, as they have both sought treatment in rehab in the past.

He wrote on Instagram: “Don’t be concerned, Z and Mich have a mutual healthy influence each other and they are very cute together (sic).”

Last year, Zac endured two stints in rehab for an alleged substance abuse problem and recently admitted his experiences taught him a lot and set him on the right path for the future.

He said: “I am so happy now and I feel like I am in a great place.

“It was an interesting year and I learnt so many things, but the best part of it was being able to reflect upon my experiences and what I had learnt about myself and the kind of man I want to be.”
