Nicole Richie doesn’t believe in regrets

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicole Richie’s young daughter Harlow is also a fan of brightly coloured hair and recently dyed her tresses blue. The style icon is no stranger to chopping and changing her locks and is currently sporting bright purple tresses, and she lets her six-year-old daughter be just as playful with her own look.

The 32-year-old star – who also has four-year-old daughter Sparrow with her husband Joel Madden – said: “She just dyed hers blue yesterday. It will only last a week, but even she’s having fun with it.”

The designer doesn’t believe in regrets and fully embraces the possibility she might regret her bold hairdo in years to come.

Nicole reflected: “There’s no way you’re not going to look at yourself 10 years ago at any point and say, ‘Everything I did was just great and there’s nothing embarrassing’. You’re going to get embarrassed, so it’s really about experimenting and having fun and knowing that embarrassment is coming no matter what.”

The former ‘Simple Life’ star has her hands full with her House of Harlow 1960 fashion line and filming her AOL online series ‘Candidly Nicole’, but she makes a point of striking the right balance between work and being a mother.

Nicole added in an interview with People magazine: “Family definitely plays a role in how much I take on. This is exciting, but you have to have fun while you do it as well. You don’t want to spread yourself too thin. Why be in this business if you’re not going to really enjoy it? I take on what I can and that’s just what it is.”
