OHMYGOSSIP — Jimmy Kimmel has signed a new deal with ABC. The late night chat show host will stay with the network until at least January 2017 under the new contract.
The 46-year-old is currently hosting his 11th season as ABC’s leading late night host, after joining in 2003.
His latest season is up 16% in total viewers compared to last year, and up 13% in the coveted 18-49 age range.
It is also the fourth season in a row that Jimmy Kimmel Live! has increased its audience.
Kimmel’s main chat show rivals are NBC’s Jimmy Fallon and David Letterman on CBS. Stephen Colbert will replace Letterman in 2015.
Last week, Jimmy Kimmel won a Webby Award for his hoax ‘twerking fail’ viral video.
