Candy Spelling: Tori is my little girl

OHMYGOSSIP — Candy Spelling has opened up about daughter Tori Spelling‘s recent hospitalization and struggle to save her marriage. Speaking with HuffPost Live, Candy said it’s incredibly difficult to see what Tori has been going through in the wake of husband Dean McDermott‘s infidelity last December.

Candy says Tori’s recent hospitalization for migraines — made worse by the stress of her marital problems — was particularly rough.

“She suffers from migraine headaches the way I used to, and that’s very difficult,” she said. “I mean, it’s all very emotional.

“You know, if I could take the hit for her, I would. She’s my child — we’re not talking about some crazy reality star here. We’re talking about my little girl. So it’s really hard for me to have to watch her ever be in pain or ever hurt.

“You know, with mothers [and] daughters, especially, there’s big love, and there’s also big conflict.

“You will not talk to anybody that says, ‘I have the greatest relationship, my mom’s my best friend,’ that hasn’t had a moment where they haven’t spoken for a couple days, or a week, or a month. It happens. That’s universal.”
