Lea Michele doing much better
OHMYGOSSIP — Lea Michele is doing “much better” following the shock death of her boyfriend Cory Monteith. The Glee star passed away in July after taking a lethal mix of heroin and alcohol.
“Lea is doing much better,” a source told People magazine.
The source says the days and weeks since Monteith’s death were “so hard” for the actress, but she has found solace in her work both on the set of her Fox show and while shooting a video for her upcoming album over the weekend.
The insider says Lea is not looking to date any time soon and is choosing to spend her time with close friends and diving hard in to her work.
Meanwhile, Lea is getting her own show.
Insiders say Glee creator Ryan Murphy is developing a spinoff series starring the actress.
“This will be announced soon,” a source told RadarOnline.
“They’re making the deals now and it also presents a viable exit plan for the main Glee series itself — in that some of its core cast would also migrate to the Lea Michele project as Glee is showing signs of aging.
“This is definitely happening.”
