Jamie Dornan is Christian Grey in Fifty Shades of Grey movie

OHMYGOSSIP — Jamie Dornan is replacing Charlie Hunnam as Christian Grey in film adaptation of the E.L. James‘ novel Fifty Shades of Grey. Reports say negotiations are underway for the actor to officially sign on for the coveted role of Christian.

Jamie, who has modeled for Calvin Klein, Christian Dior and Armani, played Sheriff Graham Humbert in ABC’s Once Upon a Time and currently plays a serial killer on popular Irish show The Fall. He also starred opposite Kirsten Dunst in Sofia Coppola‘s Marie Antoinette.

Dakota Johnson is signed on to play Anastasia Steele and has been helping producers pick her costar.

“She’s just so Anastasia Steele. She’s the best partner a producer could have,” Michael De Luca, one of the movie’s producers, told E! News.

Michael said Dakota was playing an integral part in casting Christian by “helping us look through the candidates to see which chemistry king of captures our attention.”
