Sean O’Pry named highest-earning male model! Look Top10
OHMYGOSSIP — Sean O’Pry has been named the world’s top-earning male model but his $1.5 million earnings are over $40 million less than those of his female counterpart Gisele Bundchen.
The 24-year-old American hunk – who was discovered on MySpace and has starred in campaigns for H&M, Zara, Kenzo and Cartier, as well as Madonna’s ‘Girl Gone Wild’ video – topped a list compiled by Forbes magazine after taking home $1.5 million in the last year, more than $40 million less than highest-earning female model Gisele Bundchen.
Though he has starred in several fashion adverts, the bulk of Sean’s earnings in the assessed period – September 2012-September 2013 – came from his work in two fragrance campaigns, for Jil Sander’s Ultrasense and Viktor & Rolf’s Spicebomb.
Second on the list with earnings of $1.4 million is British Dolce & Gabbana hunk David Gandy, while Simon Nessman‘s $1.1 million earnings saw him secure third place on the list.
Russian Arthur Kulkov – who brought home $905,000 – and model-turned actor Noah Mills, who amassed $740,000, placed fourth and fifth respectively.
Ryan Burns‘ exclusive deal with Zegna saw him take sixth place with earnings of $610,000.
Tyson Ballou, Ollie Edwards, Jon Kortajarena and Tobias Sorensen rounded off the top 10.
