Will.i.am is returning to school

OHMYGOSSIP — will.i.am is going back to school this year to study computer science. The ‘Scream & Shout’ singer is “fascinated” by quantum physics and has decided to resume his education and will study computer science later this year.

He said: “I’m fascinated with quantum physics. That’s the reason why I’m going back to school this September to learn computer science.”

The Black Eyed Peas star is known for his love of technology and has urged disadvantaged young people to develop an interest in new sciences in order to “change lives”.

He added to reporters in France: “If you live in a ghetto and really want not to just change your life and your family’s life but change your ghetto’s life, make your ghetto a good neighbourhood, learn science, try to be like Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates and Steve Jobs.

“You’ll change not just your family and your neighbourhood, you’ll change your whole city. Music is great, athletics is great, but the guys in Silicon valley and the dudes that make Twitter and Facebook, they’re changing the world.”

Meanwhile, will has created a one-off comic called ‘Wizards & Robots’ with Brian David Johnson.

The 48-page publication, which is illustrated by Adam Archer, will be released in July through IDW.

Speaking of the comic, IDW said: “When an army of futuristic robots journeys through time and space in search of ancient, powerful wizards, the fate of the world will hang in the balance, and a wealth of volatile secrets will be uncovered.”
