Zara Phillips’ husband is set to date another woman for charity.
Rugby ace Mike Tindall is taking part in a event organised by his club, Gloucester, based on popular TV dating show ‘Take Me Out’.
In the show a single man competes to win over a number of women who can choose whether or not they would want to date him by turning a light on or off.
An organiser told the Daily Telegraph newspaper: “It will be hosted by the England fly-half Freddie Burns and it will follow the same format as the Saturday night show, with participants asked a series of questions.
“Winning couples will then be treated to a romantic meal.”
The event will take place in April and raise funds for an orphanage in the Limpopo region of South Africa called The Fold.
A message on the club’s website reads: “Ladies, if you wish to enter as a contestant, all you need to do is download the application form and send it back to us.
“All entrants will be asked to attend an audition on Monday 4th March, at 7pm in the Lion’s Den at Kingsholm Stadium where the lucky finalists will be picked.
“So, if you would like the chance to go on a date with one of the players, then get your application forms in before it’s too late.”
