OHMYGOSSIP — Pippa Middleton is planning a baby shower for her sister the Duchess of Cambridge, to celebrate the impending arrival of the royal’s first child.

Duchess Catherine is currently expecting her first child with husband Prince William and her party planner sister is keen to throw her a bash to celebrate the impending arrival.

Pippa – who last year released a book on event planning called ‘Celebrate’ – is organising the baby shower for early May as the baby is due in July and is keen to hold it at the Middleton family home.

Earlier this month, Pippa gave advice on how to throw a first birthday party.

The 29-year-old beauty was writing in her magazine Party Times and she has given tips on how parents should celebrate their offspring’s milestone.

One of the pieces of advice is: “Play some nursery and party music in the background… Or peek-a-boo is always a winner.”

She also suggested to keep the party memorable by decorating the room with balloons because “babies all love balloons!”.
