Pippa Middleton’s day at the races
OHMYGOSSIP — Britain’s Pippa Middleton donned a £815 coat for a day at the Cheltenham Festival yesterday (14.03.13), teaming the bespoke garment with brown suede boots and designer sunglasses.
The party planner – whose sister is Duchess Catherine, the wife of Prince William – wrapped up warm for the Cheltenham Festival in Gloucestershire, South West England, in a bespoke double breasted yellow coat from designer Katherine Hooker.
Hours before Pippa was spotted at the festival with close friend Tom Kingston, the designer tweeted: “The sun is shining at Cheltenham and how GREAT does Pippa Middleton look in her Katherine Hooker Tori coat?”
The designer – who is also a favourite of Pippa’s sister Catherine – then urged followers to pre-order the garment, which doesn’t go on sale until September.
However, asked if Pippa had been given the coat as a gift, the London-based firm remained tight-lipped, saying only: “I’m afraid we don’t discuss our customers at all.”
Pippa, 29, teamed the coat with a fur Cossack hat, brown suede knee-high boots, £140 Givenchy sunglasses and a patent leather clutch and despite her win in the fashion stakes, it seems she didn’t have as much luck on the track.
The brunette beauty was seen laughing with her companion in their heavily-guarded private box as they pointed at a horse at the back of the field in the third race, before throwing her arms up in mock despair.
