Angelina Jolie hates Jennifer Lawrence

OHMYGOSSIP — Angelina Jolie is embroiled in a bitter feud with Jennifer Lawrence, it has been claimed. According to American tabloid the National Enquirer, the Salt star believes the Hunger Games actress poached a role from her. “Angelina desperately wanted the fe­male lead in the movie Silver Linings Playbook,” a source said.

“But once the director saw Jennifer’s audition, it was no contest. Jennifer blew her out of the water, and Angie was enraged!

The film features a man with bipolar disorder, played by Bradley Cooper, who meets an emotionally unstable young widow named Tiffany.

Director David O. Russell says he initially believed 22-year-old Jennifer wasn’t mature enough to play Tiffany, and had Angelina pegged for the role.

“We had a lot of major actresses in town interested in the role, from Angelina Jolie to some other big stars,” he said recently. “Jennifer, we frankly thought, was too young.”

Angelina was enraged, the source says, when she heard what David had said.

“Angie was beside herself,” said the source. “She screeched, ‘What’s she got that I don’t have?’

“The simple answer is youth. Angie’s getting older and the big parts are going to rising young stars like Jennifer.

“Angie’s seething. It’s a juicy, award-winning part, and she thinks it should have been hers.”
