Kate Middleton is looking forward to decorating Kensington Palace

OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Middleton plans to decorate her new Kensington Palace home with mementos from her travels with Prince William. She has undertaken a number of official royal trips and private holidays with William since their marriage in April 2011 and is excited about moving in to their new apartment in London and displaying items from their trips.

“Kate is keen to put her stamp on the place with things she’s bought on her travels. She feels certain pieces would be nice when they have a bigger home,” a source said.

The couple are also keen to move from their cottage in Wales to London as they feel it will offer more protection for when they start a family.

“A baby is the main reason for the move. They want to bring up a child in a secure environment and the level of protection at their Anglesey cottage just isn’t enough,” said the source.
